School Opening Hours

School opens for breakfast club at 8.30am each day and closes at 4.20pm when clubs are finished. This equates to 34 hours and 10 minutes each week.


Pupils must be in school by 8.55am for registration and teaching ends 3.20pm. This equates to 31.25 hours.

55% of pupils achieved a 'Good Level of Development' in Early Years. (2018 NA 71.5%)

Mount Pleasant Primary School is in the TOP 25% of all school in league tables  

The school met the Government's 'Floor Standard' for progress between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

KS1 and KS2 Data: Please note - the system for assessing children's attainment changed in 2016, making comparisons with earlier years difficult.

NOTE: The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
